The Child Development Foundation is here to make sure every child in Armenia gets the support they need — no matter where they live or what they’re navigating. Our work spans development, rehabilitation, and social inclusion.
We offer multidisciplinary services — psychological, educational, social, and rehabilitative — shaped around each child’s individual strengths and needs.
We believe a child’s progress begins with the family. That’s why parents and caregivers aren’t just participants in what we do — they’re at the center of it, getting ongoing guidance, counseling, and professional support at every stage of the journey. And we don’t stop at the family door. By working with communities, we help build environments where children don’t just develop — they belong.
We’re here to provide comprehensive support for children’s development, rehabilitation, and social inclusion through multidisciplinary services. We work with children and their families to help each child reach their potential, strengthen families, and build more inclusive communities.
We want to live in a society where every child has an equal chance to grow, learn, and live with dignity. For Armenia, that means building a system that is sustainable, inclusive, and genuinely supportive; one that recognizes and protects every child’s rights, needs, and possibilities.
With the principles we’ve adopted and the dedicated work of every day, our goal is to be recognized by the quality and impact of our work and to make a visible contribution to the advancement of child protection in Armenia.
In 2009, we officially registered as an independent Foundation. Since then, we’ve implemented over 60 social programs and serve more than 120 children every month.
Building on a design lab that had been running since 2002, we registered the ZarMan brand. ZarMan makes “talking notebooks” and eco-friendly developmental games and all the revenue flows back into providing services to children from vulnerable families and funding our social programs.
Since 2009, we’ve been part of over 6,000 children’s stories. What started as one center in Yerevan has grown into a family of centers in Areni, Jermuk, Vayk, Vedi, Jrvezh, and Araks. Today, more than 400 children walk through our doors every month, and our programs keep bringing change to the communities we call partners.
